I am very very disappointed. I buy the Anglers Mail every week and enjoy the read whilst at work etc. Just brought this weeks copy which has a 'free' spool of line attached. However the price of the magazine has risen by £1 to £2.90. This is because of the 'free' line = 100m of cheap crappy line.
The magazine is on sale again next week according do the detail inside this weeks at £1.90. How can the line be free if the magazine goes up £1 because it is stuck on the front?
Just had mine delivered by post and there is no line attached to the magazine. Not sure if I should feel cheated or not but I do think it is bad if you get charged £1 more for the magazine just because there is a free gift. Very naughty!!
A load of crappity smack man balls , the mags are even crappity smack worse with 60 crappity smack pages of crappity smack advertising and 20 pages of actual stuff worth reading ......... crappity smack rip off !!!
Totally agree. Thing is I find that buying magazines is the only way you are going to keep up with what is happening in the fishing world unless you want to trawl through endless web pages.
Being out of work I would happily do without it but seeing as how I am such a good husband - in fact nearly as good as being as husband as I am a fisherman - my wife brought the subscription for me and I pass the magazine on to my mate so I think it is well used
