well i pegged this one quite tight , a bit like obis wallet.
after the abismal weather which flooded the topath and made the banks like a quagmire and a few duve divas i piled everyone in the shortpound. gaz went off like a train on his usual end peg, tricast
also started well with a mixture of roach n skimmers. whilst us meer mortals tried to scrape a weight together. yamo had 3 quality perch, close behind was mike the pike who caught well late on,mr v had lots ov fish but of a smaller stamp but he was
next to the kod .a close run match that could have changed
a no of times as 3 double figure carp were hooked but lost
but all in all everyone had a few fish so job well done
the next one will be held on the priory at armitage on 3rd jan
[dont tell the baillif] usual time.hopefully it will be warm enough for a few to venture out.

Well done Tricast...long overdue grueller win for you . Thought it fished well for the conditions. A rogue carp played havoc with a couple of the lads, and it kept me and Yamo entertained for the last hour of the match, popping up in our pegs towing OBI's lighthouse behind it . I think on the next one, we just give Blues the end peg, cos it's getting embarrassing for him when he keeps drawing it
It must have dropped bloody cold last night, cos when I went to get the gear out of my van this morning, it was all frozen to the carpet on the van floor :surprise :surprise.
See you all on the next one. Happy New Year to all gruellerites
