League front runner Rob Wootton drawn on the carp lake peg 16 had great days fishing starting at 13m on pellet he caught a steady stream of skimmers all the time priming his 6m line with loose fed casters when he made the switch nearly 2 hours in he never looked back catching quality perch, roach & skimmers for 37lb 12oz.
2 pegs from Rob on peg 18 was Alistair Chisholm fishing 13m with casters & maggots over groundbait he had 31lb 2oz of perch & skimmers for runner-up spot.
3rd on peg 2 was Andy Taft catching skimmers on pellet and maggot over groundbait at 13m and roach on caster at 6m for 28lb 13oz
