I don't know how he does it but when I have fished there I found that you have to keep the feed going in regularly and I had to keep changing the depth.
Bronze maggots used to be key there, don't know if that has changed.
I started out long but kept feeding shorter and by the end I was at 5 meters and could have gone shorter.
