You didn't find an orange disgorger on the bank did you Dodge?

The guy with 3points for dorking must be spuing, every other squad member had 31plus, same result in that section gives them gold. The highs and lows of team fishing! !
Cant believe we got beat by one point ouch. i finished 10th in section with 3.340kg at collingham G section. had a good match in very difficult conditions a howling downstreamer. the peg was shallow and skimming through so i fished long pole over groundbait. 152 small fish. if there was less wind it would have been a waggler job.
Not sure of peg number but there were loads of pleasure anglers opposite us on the private stretch at the bottom of colingham just past a bend in the river. i would probably caught a barbel if i fished 4 them all day. bit risky though lol.
The average weight per angler of just over 3 kilo is a new national record I believe that's is some going considering the blustery winds made float fishing for the roach , dace small chub and perch very difficult in a lot of the sections . Fabulous venue and the section I fished at East Bridgford and Gunthorpe weir threw up fantastic so weights throughout the section
Someone pointed out the 1971 Leicester's famous National win on the Severn but my records indicate that 4,723 lbs if fish were put on the scales that match.
It was fished by 116 teams and there was 12 in a team then =1392 anglers. I thought that was a good match but the Trent ones knocks spots off it as an average per competitor.
