Mmmmm I responded to the survey. What a waste of time that was as I packed in team fishing a couple of weeks ago as I cannot commit to the team. Not sure that I have made the right decision only time will tell...

I'm afraid your right Chris you've fished right at the top with great memories if a angler like you can't commit it doesn't look good .

WINTER LEAGUE SURVEY RESULTS
One thing missing on that list......A serious lack of young anglers.
How I see in about ten to twenty years time the likes of James Dent, Andy Power, Callum Dicks, Lee Kerry etc etc will have no one to fish against unless something is done to encourage youngsters into the sport.

Agree with Shandyman . There will be nothing left if the issue of COST isn't addressed ASAP . Make our sport affordable and the youngsters will flourish . The trend sadly is the opposite so the writing is on the wall , if it deteriorates at the level it has the last five years or so there will be very little left in just a few years time nevermind ten to twenty . At least something is trying to be done , again sadly too many anglers have left the sport in recent years so for me it's too little too late .
