Daiwa tdr 2508A

Hi Folks, just bought a new Daiwa 2508A reel and after two matches i am dissapointed with the line going inside the spool two or three times during the sessions. Has anyone else had this trouble ? :(

Hi wagglerman, I'm still using the daiwa 2503cu reels, I know someone with the 2508, s and he was telling me they are excellent reels.

I know at least two other anglers who are having the same problem and I have contacted Daiwa . waiting for a reply. :(

I will be seeing him at the weekend Wagglerman, so I will ask him again , his reels if I remember right are black with a gold coloured spool , are these the same reels?

the one i've got daveyboy is blue and silver

I've probably got the wrong reels then wagglerman, I will ask him at the weekend, although my reels are a good few years old, I have always. Used daiwa reels since the mid 80s and never had any problems with any of them

Sorry wagglerman I've seen my mate in the tackle shop this morning, his reels are tdm,s my mistake

took line off and put some other line on and loded it with less , had no probs with it today on the Trent match mate
