The latest Coors match attracted 61 angers to the Trent at Burton . It produced a corker 23 double figure weights all on the float. All the top four were drawn on the fancied upstream Sherratts section. 1st was Coventry star Tom Lane with a all roach catch of 20lb 2oz of fish to 12oz on hemp and long pole. He later caught on the Waggler further out on maggot. 2nd was Tim Kinson with a similar 18lb 4oz on Waggler and stick near the winner. 3rd was J Spencer filled the top three an agonising 2oz behind on 18lb 2oz again stick and Waggler. Tony Marshall left his hemp in the bag and fished the stick down the middle and ending on the long pole to catch smaller fish and finished with 200 fish all on the maggot his biggest fish was a lone 8oz barbel with 17lb 8oz.

Yes Paul it just had to happen with such a big classy turnout on a stretch of river that's improving by the day. Its looking low and very clear for the big one Sunday but I still think someone will crack the 20 lb mark again. Middle section on Sherrats is still favorite . :thumsup

Not all sections fished baileys is a bit hard, lots of crack anglers there now, big money to win and a lot fish the pole :thumsup
