Jean did say the french way and the English way is very hard as Jean felt his peg had lots of skimmers in . Yet the heavy rigs just would'nt catch them lots of missed bites and bumped fish. Yet when he put his very light rig to work he'd have a string of skimmers coming to the net . The only problem with this is the carp that came into his peg and more often than not fouled hooked would trash his rigs ::) ::)
Again and Again frustating for Jean but he can't wait until next year
The french way of playing fish is often to stand up and step back
also it reminded everyone I hope how important silverfish catching skills are 
. TV coverage was also better for the international event than the Saturday final where there was way too much waffle ::) some of the anglers didn't help the TV coverage though fishing stupid noddy methods catching nowt ::) ::) full credit to the lad that won it he fished a blinder , class act
