The practice match for the 1st round of the Oxford Summer league was fished by 30 anglers on the Kennet and Avon canal at Great Bedwyn. The match was a memorial match for the well known Reading angler Mick Craig. There were very few big fish showing and it was mainly small roach and perch that dominated the weights
1st Matt Herbert - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 10lb 10oz. Matt drew a end peg and had a good net of small fish the pole and squatt over groundbait.
2nd Tom Hobbs - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 10lb
3rd Gary Barclay - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 8lb 6oz
4th Martin Kirk - Sensas A4 - 8lb 1oz
