Lads trying to get some drennan carbon castor hooks size 18
anyone know where i could get some cheers john

Have you tried Ebay John. I get most of mine off there mate. York tackle seem to be good with the older hook types, as does ted carter at Preston

I have just looked in one of my old stashes.

Initially come across these

Drennan Carbon Caster

size 24 - one pkt (8 hooks only)

size 20 - one box (30 hooks)

size 18 -one old pkt (3 hooks only)

You can have these it you want them for crappity smack all
Ask Mr V to give us a knock when he is around my area or I can post them, whatever.

I have a few more stashes dotted around but not sure if I have any of that model; I'll put it on here if I find any more.

Just a thought, - Drennan have a website now. It may well worth asking them if they have any old stock hooks.

Chapmans, Scunthorpe have them apparently in 16s and 20s, at £2.30 per box of 25. They do a deal if you have 4 boxes (£6). Worth an ask 0871 7161 678.

18s are hard to come by, they were a good hook

Just looked at another stash and found what looks like a full packet of 18s (10 hooks).

If anyone wants a particular size and make of obsolete hooks just stick it on here, I have loads of them but mainly in very small quantities, - they will eventually get binned! Loads of au lion d'or, mustad and other Drennans and others, just ask.
