Just seen this posted on Facebook and thought it may interest some on here.  Image
charity anglers along side wdaac match event

10 match fishing event being held on the Droitwich canal between bridges 1-8. This event is organised to raise money for Acorns Childrens Hospice in Worcester.
Match fees will be £12.50 for each match which will be split 4 ways.
1) Peg fee £2.50
2) Charity £5.00
3) Match Day winner £2.50
4) Overall winning pot £2.50

This event will be held over 9 matches on the Droitwich canal on a point system
1st place = 3points
2ndplace = 2 points
3rd place = 1 point

all anglers will be awarded one point for each match they fish.
The 9 canal matches will lead to a final match on the pool at the pear tree smite in worcester, The overall wwinner of the match at the pair tree will walk away with the money from the overall winning pot.

The dates of the event will run every Saturday from 22nd March to 24th May 2014 with peg draw at 09.30 fish from 10.30 till 15.30, All angers must hold a current environment agency rod licence.
