The river soar fish stocks are still feeding wildly with the mild conditions the latest match attended by 21 anglers enjoyed plenty of good sport roach again. Organisers had selected the best sections of the river and no one could predict where the winner would come from until River ace Tony Marshell Quorn AS had drawn the hot peg at Kegworth Tony put his favourite method into action and managed a stunning catch of hemp caught roach to the total of 17lb 1oz Tony fished at 16metres feeding Hemp well clear of runner up Gary Smith Drennan Leicester Sensas with 14lb 12oz closely followed by Dave Petch Quorn AS with 13lb 8oz Daves catch included a specimen perch of 2lb 15oz
1st Tony Marshell Quorn AS 17lb 1oz
2nd Gary Smith Drennan Leicester Sensas 14lb 12oz
3rd Dave Petch Quorn AS 13lb 8oz
