I have never said that my partner was useless!
I did see that given the opposition I could not see us winning anything but we have up pied our game
As for carrying me Fat Lad, I have had a 2nd and a third overall - what have you done other than Fxxx up a peg that won the two previous matches

I think its fair to say now that Big cup wont win the individual for the 4th year running  and the chance of a 4th pairs league victory is now to much to ask  , only pairs can throw it away now with all the bad and unpredictable weather to come and us already having 4 throw away results

You can see the difference with the milder weather, yes 2 rounds have had an extra pair but so far an extra 1000lb of fish have been caught over the first 4 matches to the same point last year. Over 2000lb of fish have been put on the scales from a low 20 anglers in 4 visits. Not a bad return for the start of a winter league, the last round being the worst by some way recording just 440lb
