Oxford Winter League
The 1st round of the Angling trust oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams on the Thames on the Medley, Channel and Folly sections. The match was fished very wet conditions on a river with no flow for the 1st half of the match untill some weirs were opened when the flow picked up.
1st Mick Denton - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 17lb 4oz. Mick drew end peg on the Abbey road end of the channel and had a chub and quality perch and roach on pole and worm fished to the far side tree with chop worm feed.
2nd Phil Drew - Sensas A4 - 14lb 1oz. Phil drew on the deep water peg at Folly and had mainly quality perch on pole and worm.
3rd Steve Pawson - Sensas A4 - 13lb 2oz. Steve drew on the marina at the Osney end of Folly and had mainly roach on pole and maggot over groundbait.
4th Matt Herbert - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 11lb 11oz. Matt had all roach in the perch bay on Medley

2nd = Isis - 30pts
2 = Sensas A4
