A lot of love for the old AS1's. I hope you've all read pole fishing magazine this month?
Haven't a clue who the angler is though, sorry

Still got my AS1, got it from Scotts at Chester. Drove all the way from Leicestershire to collect it.
Always carried it and never had a trolly. Suberb box with everything in the right place and nothing not needed.

Fished a National on the Stainforth & Keadby once. Got dropped of at Crowle (9 buses went to Crowle and 2 to Keadby) and I just happened to be in the 3rd section from Keadby and had to walk to the Keadby end. About 300 pegs i made it. Effing knackered when i got there, 10 minutes before the all-in. Carried it all the way.

The AS stood for Arnold Schwarzenneger! Used to love seeing blokes walking down Cardiac Hill at Swad carrying 'em - even better watching 'em come back!
