I have been asked by the Baliff to try and get decent copies of the photos of the 2 bream caught today. He needs them before Monday as that is the deadline to get them in the Kent fishing paper.
I know Clive has the pics of Als fish and I think John may have Micks. Could they be emailed to me as soon as possible.
Main results will be done tomorrow.

Im sorry about the large slimy thing in the middle of the photo but somebody had to hold the fish.
New PB for Al at 10lb 8oz. Im sure even Bill Yards and Joff would love to catch one of these. Well done Al.
Mick Wright also beat his PB with a fish of 9lb 4 oz ( Hopefully photo to follow.)

Well that wasnt the easiest club match I have fished I dont think my poor old joints like holding 11 metres of pole all day long. . Lake Sophie isnt a bag up water and I am certain that keepnets every other peg prevent the fish from feeding well down the edge.
We caught loads fishing short on our fact finding mission but I could only catch small fish early on and had nothing on several tries later.
Still Al and Mick must be over the moon to have caught those bream of 10lb 8 oz and 9lb 4 oz respectively. I know I have never seen bream that big before.
It certainly made a change to fish a new lake although the results were not brilliant. So what are your thoughts ... Do I book it again next year?

Well Done Mick & Al for the super bream, what an hard days fishing 5 carp for 7lb and 15 silvers for 5lb 8 oz caught only a couple of little perch & roach on maggot and got a good chub and the carp on meat at 11.5m . In the margins I didnt get a bite , never mind better luck next time .
Fishing the other lake soon hope the results better.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself on the day although frustrating. I think I fished it well with the wrong baits.
Lesson learnt.

Another good day out, made better by the unexpected good weather turning up and good company. Fished opposite Simon so I could keep an eye on him and Rod next to me.
Found the fishing very hard, tried all my baits, but the only decent carp caught were on meat on the far bank. Nothing in the margins or the track.
Almost got Simon to retire, one more fish would have done it!!!!! If I would have know it was that close my have dived in to try and catch one!!!!
Defo worth another visit Dave, well done Al and Mick on their PB's

I think we need a different sort of points table.
Simon 3 Gino 0
Simon 2 Tony 1
John 2 Martin 0
John 1 Zack 0
Keith 1 Mick 2
Al 1 Everyone else 0
