had the day off yesterday took the tank commander and the kids up town .i never really go up town and do any shopping and i can see why now every two or three yards someone is trying to sell you something and when you finally get in a shop everybody jumps to sell you something still it was a change to be questioned about why i wanted to pay cash for my goods and not by store cards a quick answer back" because you get discount with cash don't you" reply was even better "fat chance of that we don't earn anything out of cash" how thing have changed
still most of the shops weren't busy so we got what we wanted and of course its dinner time then
in these times of recession the last place i'd of though would be busy would be the food outlets well they were packed solid unbelievable how many people were eating out on a wednesday dinner two places we wanted to go you had to wait 30 to 40 minutes
so being a male it was straight back into the car and back to the woodies for some homemade steak and kidney pie chips peas carrots and cabbage proper food at the right money can't beat your local the trouble is the tank commander knows where the woodies is

You have a point there Joff.
Why does it take these 'card' shoppers a crappity smack eternity to be served.
The last time I was in my local (Tuesday) I waited ages to get served as it was busy. The chap before me bought himself a pint (crappity smack all else) and paid for it with a bit of plastic, it took crappity smack ages.
I know most live on the plastic in London but for crappity smack's sake one pint and a quarter of a crappity smack hour to serve it is taking it bit too crappity smack far.
Good job she had a nice wobbly cheeks to look at
