Russ blakely ,Russ spent the weekend last year with us in Holland he'd only just started fishing after a break of 25 years .he wanted to come this year but with work commitment he couldn't make it [good job i cant drink like i used to
] so when we got back he couldn't wait to hear how the trip had gone in Holland .needless to say he was itching to go fishing so Wednesday he fished a small lake near to where we live i'm sure its called lower lakes on the A46 basic set up of two rods and a feeders on both i get a great kick out of helping anglers improve there skills and dont just turn to commercials although this lake has carp bream roach and catfish in it i would call it a commercial more of a forgotten water which we used to fish years ago
the weather was right with a chop on the water plenty of colour what happened next after he started was incredible for a beginner bites after bites rod pulling off the rest in fact two fish on both rods at the same time
we were there nomore than three to four hours
and the results you can see for yourselfs
we put the three carp back quickly
his face says it all
