both damsel and dragon pools at carneys (Rugeley), Horns (sitting mill Rugeley) have benifited from almost £30,000 of improvements for both able bodied and disabled anglers Improvements have included new new platforms, new path ways, carparks and toilets .
Nice to see licence money coming home .

personaly ato i am happy to see licence money come local, i could of thought of other venues that could of used the money more to make improvements as the platforms, paths and car parks were in decent condition. I just hope they havent just wasted the money by doing work for the sake of spending the money.

I hope they are like the pegs at the Horns. Best platforms I've fished off.

si thats what i mean, horns as had money to improve their platforms, WHY there was nothing up with the old ones same as the paths and carpark. The same is for carneys. If you look at the pegs, paths (what pathways ? ) at populars and other venues that are in ruin and are desperate for cash.

the east midlands have had their fair share as their rivers (Derwent, Amber,Idle,Soar,Wreake) have had a share of 6000 barbel, 6,500 bream, 12,500 dace, 15,500 roach, and 1000 chub stocked by the EA

The Penk could do with a few fish in it. Its only over the field and I have only ever caught one chub from it. It was 2lb 6oz. Oh and that was the last time I used a worm.
