Perhaps Chris V when we get stuck you can fill in all the misssing names.
I must dig out the pics I have taken on the W/L final of the team when the Essex VDE team won ..are which one of several.....you can tell us soon as I sort out.

Just messing about Chris V.I was not sure on all the names so thanks now cleared up.
Not long ago i went to Gordon's birthday party and got a lovely jigsaw made up of the team that won the National.Looking at it now.
Chap in white..sorry forgot his name..was the main man
at DFDS seaways and organised the match on behalf of the shipping co.
Don't know the other gent..not a VDE i think.
Must find them Nene pics with the bubbly flowing.

I remember Andy Partridge and Micky Thill from the oxford canal days. We got some of the first proper pole floats off them, colmic I think ! (Gordon B. had something to do the tackle trade). We used these floats for gudgeon on whips. Does Andy Partridge still fish ?

Chopworm Hero, Andy Partridge now lives down in Cornwall and fishes at Whiteacres, Gwinear and Mawgan Porth in the summer. Still manages to win his fair share on commercials now as opposed to the old canal days.
