Coors AC - Help the Heroes Canal Match 28/12/12

Coors AC Match for Help the Heroes fished on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Rugeley. 33 anglers fished.

The canal fished pretty good considering the heavy rain and the water coming in from the river colouring the canal up.


A total amount of £240 was raised from the peg fee and the raffle. Thanks to the anglers and the suppliers for the raffle prizes and a very enjoyable day fishing.

1st Darren Massey                                           9lb 4oz                                                 3 nice perch and roach to 6lb on bloodworm

2nd Matt Derry                                                7lb 11oz                                              Roach on  pinkies and caster

Joint 3rd Andy Beesley & Dave Conway          6lb 4oz                                              Roach and perch on   Chop worm, caster and punch bread

4th S Naylor                                                      4lb 10oz                                               Chop Worm, perch and roach on bloodworm
