Nice on again TK>
This is great and a venue I love to fish, even now.
This is the Kentish Stour at Grove Ferry.
Been there lots and full of fish.
Tidal river that changes every hour.
Canterbury club used to run every year a New Year's day open on the stretch and we all rushed down there, even at the cost of an early night before so we would be fit for the match.
Now CDAA run the 'Canterbury Open' every September and when I can still fish this, nearly every peg worth double figures of skimmers and roach.
Great clip and fond memories.

useless info....
Only couple years ago on the Canterbury Open a local Tonbridge club angler came down with m,e to fish the river as I was always going on about it and how good it was.
He drew Pluck's Gutter upstream, usually good pegs.
On arrival at the swim he found two local talented anglers either side of him..Delcac men.
To the left local comic Kevin Dyer...so dry
and other side 'Puddle', my very good friend Paul Udell.

At the weigh in I think Kev won with 28lb odd and Puddle 2nd not far behind..27lb odd..or it could be other way round, senior moment again.
Poor old Martin..(name and shame) amassed maybe 2lb
and messed up somewhere..but with respect to him the divide between club and open is massive and it was proven so here.
Great to be next to quality and get bashed as I did not so long ago by Will Raison..an honour it was ..Cheers Will.

PS Chris V knows who I am talking about.
We 'Southerners ' must stick together
