Well spotted Dodge - half way up on the left bank

The two nearer bridges are no more but the one at the top of the picture is still going strong . There is a huge Makro store and a Tescos plus a dual carriage way running alongside  the "Ship Canal". Massive chemical plant both right hand side and left handside also. North as the crow flies is Manchester City Center via the old docks which have now been converted into Salford Quays , home of Media City and the BBC plus concert arena very plush housing , a very plush shopping center with very plush restaurants plus some sh!te football stadium home of some sh!te football club !  Image  :D

Ship Canal btw is full of fish , roach , bream , chub , carp , pike and eels but almost impossible to fish as it is around 40 ft deep and the ocean going ships that use it plus the wash off them can wash all your tackle and any person into the very deep canal ........ it just isnt worth the risk  Image :'(
