Ex Cashmores Thread....

Following the disbanding of Cashmore's fishing club, some of the old members may wish to continue using the Forum under a new name. Can you advise us if this is possible and what path to follow? 1) Is there a cost. 2) Will we need to appoint moderators 3) Are there any legal actions needed. 4) Any ...

My hypodermically powered gonad grabbing inside measuring leg tape is away for a seasonal refurbishment making it difficult to assess your needs.

Re: Curse match 15 2015 - Bullah bags up at Broadholme

If the Trentmans adage "when the winds in the east the fish feed the least" is correct. Next weeks winter league match should be a much better option with the wind forecasted to be from the west. This of course means that as usual we will be blown of our boxes on the common.!!! Well done Bullah.

Re: Curse match 15 2015 - Bullah bags up at Broadholme

Purchased a new rod bag which allows you to transport made up rods. No more fumbling with cold fingers, windy conditions and dodgy eyesight on the bank. What joy to be ready and eager to start the match on the whistle. How rapidly ones aspirations can be shattered by a river which did not provide ...

Access to Broadholme

I understand we can now gain access to Broadholme and park on the field, rather going through the rigmarole of unloading, manhandling the gear over the gate and then risking life and limb to park across the the main road. Is this correct?

Re: Billy Uptons "tortoise"

I recall another incident with Billy Upton. Returning to the car park after a match at Hampton Loade. I observed Bill divesting himself of a Boiler Suit and revealing white shirt, tie. waist coat and blue pin striped trousers. He had fished thus clad for a 5 hour match on very hot day. Plus walking ...
