It seems to me that commercial focus is individual fishing, team fishing - at least decent size team fishing - seems to be natural venue orientated. The South West Super League still runs but thats come off commercials altogether - peg fees to high I think - and has returned to all natural venues ...

Daiwa Gordon League won the Thames Champs today, Andy Pollard who fishes for them won the match. He had a 14lbs 15oz Barbel landed on a Daiwa Airity pole- is that the biggest barbel ever landed in a match or on a pole? He had a 3lbs 10oz perch to go with it too! Big fish getting fat on cray fish!

I agree September is a nightmare and it was reason I suggested to NFA not to reduce squad sizes as at that time of year there is a need to compete on so many fronts. A
