i think there are called VERET whips. i know mine had derwent tackle on them. brought a 2m +2.5m from bob tromans and a 3m from wotsits tackle. a mate of mine had a 4m and said they also did a 5m but i have never seen one. like you say great whips which i still use.got 2.5m 3m and 3.5m browning ...
