Well that's it all done for another year

Fishing was a bit patchy but there was plenty through the canal for a nice change. I averaged 48lb a day first festival and 46lb a day second festival so cant complain. 1st festival had 3 6 finger shuffle draws and 1 good draw but fished tidy catching on feeder. 2nd festival had 3 good draws but fished like a Woman's wetter and couldn't catch the extra fish needed on the feeder after day 1. That said I managed 2 daily wins over the 2 weeks, 2 section wins and a section 2nd, overall 8th on first week on weight with 86kilo and 7th on weight ( with a separate run pool ) the second week with 83kilo. Fell off the map on points 2nd week, but guess ya cant win in them all

This week has fished well going off Facebook reports , big weights first two days but harder today on day 3 . Think 140 kilo is winning after 3 days and 60 - 70 kilo is average 3 day weight

Sorry i've been really busy to post last weeks as they were coming in late at night

last weeks Anglo Dutch Festival results

Wind played a massive part in this weeks fishing blustery and cold all week most of the weights came to feeder fishing . soil and peat with chopped worm .Talking to Bicko he thinks if the weather allows more pole usage we will see some big weights coming out . Darran will be one to watch although with only 36 fishing the first week and 90 the second week i'm sure there will be some surprises as some pegs wouldn't of been fished

if the canal can rise 2 - 3 degrees it will get silly, most fish I've seen in system for years
