Hi Chaps...bit of info for you from my trip to longfords lily pool,

depth wise i had about 5 foot at about 8m...and about 2 foot down edge,

caught on all usual commie baits but dead reds caught the most,

caught about 20lb prob 50/50 crap and silvers but there was only me on the bank so that should tell you it was tough or that i am crap

,

pool is very open so if it a bit breezy like yesterday it feels like a bloody gale is blowing (nowt new there in the vicinity of deadpeg)..

Good mixed fish pool...plenty of fish but was certainly hard going in certain areas...even some good munters which a certain member probably tried to get out on a No 2 laggy and 22 hook ,

Hard going at our end but still,as always enjoyed it,

not bad sarnies either
