Hi MrV

From Cannock, head along the A5, past the Extension canal to the next island (Crown/Rising Sun island)
Take a right on it to B'hills (A452).
Carry on through Brownhills High St.
You will eventually cross the canal with the Anchor pub on your left and an immediate right turn as soon as you do so. Take that right and park on the grass area in front of the cut Image

I wonder what map Mr V is looking at, because the cut runs right beside the Anchor pub, on the Chester road

Interesting that. There is another Anchor Inn on the Chester road, about a mile further down towards Brum, but I can't see a canal anywhere near it. Image Image

I know what deadpeg has been doing while he has not been fishing with us.
He.s been practicing needlecraft. It was a revalation to watch him sew up a gaping hole in Obi,s landing net.
He is my heroine!!.
