Got to have been the hardest Grueller in my memory , 4 hours fishing = no bites

Wind was wicked and cold snap appears to have turned fish off ( at least in my peg !!!)

Warming up gently now and looking forward to the next one

Twas a bad day at Black Rock, aint been so troubled by the wind since breakfasting on Allbran and baked beans. I cannot remember a match where so many pulled the plug well before the whistle. I used my old Triana pole which seemed to bend almost double at times. One bite, one fish on, one fish lost. I will be interested to see the results.

not quite that bad fish wise...just a major disaster for some and it just demonstrated what type of guys these are when 2 of them packed their match in after an hour to help another angler try and retrieve his car/house keys which had got blown/dropped in the cut...

think there was only about 6 idiots hardy souls left standing at the end
