22 fished
Well what can I say. On a grueller you are usually guaranteed some banter and I've gorra say, being pegged next to Big Col T was no exception - the fishing was 'hard' in our neck of the woods on the boats but we had loads of laffs between us and the 4 hrs flew by.
Now anything can happen on a grueller........... ............and it often does
But the best laff about this grueller..........and this is a first
I've just gone to post the results onto Bill Yards and Towpath 2........
But JK's binned em
Despite a mooch in the bin still cant find 'em

Grueller match 1 2013
Grueller match 1 2013
Wasnt too bad ME - we've had much harder gruellers in the past
There were even a few smiling faces at the end and not just the 'winners'
See here's Big Col T - hope I draw next to him on the next un - and his soup aint bad either
And Trevor B
Cotti doing the honours with the scales - mind Mike E is an even bigger scrooge with those drams
That peg 5 looks a flyer

Grueller match 1 2013
Well done all the "framers" Not sure how it fished down on the boats section, but as gruellers go, there was a fairly even spread of weights throughout the rest of the sections. My pound plus was hard work, and I was given a spanking by the "young gun" on peg 22....well done Josh .
It was great to see a good turn out, and I hope they keep coming. I don't think many people caught on the punch (Zorro being the exception), and I was glad I decided to take the W/J. Don't know the lads name on peg 24, but he came and asked me a few questions on W/J fishing as he hadn't used it before. Gave him a few tips, so hopefully he will bring it with him next match and give himself another string to his bow
Big Thanks to KOD for taking my gear back to the van
