Radley Open 27.10.13
The practice match for the Oxford winter league on the Thames at Radley was fished by 28 anglers. The river was in perfect condition but the very high winds made presentation difficult and also resulted in a few broken poles. Despite the wind the roach and chub fed throughout resulting in numerous double figure weights.

1st Darren Wright - Sensas A4 - 23lb 10oz. Darren drew below the boathouse 2 from the end of the pegging and all roach on pole at 10m with maggot on hook over groundbait feed.
2nd Nigel Bearman - Sensas A4 - 21lb 3oz. Nigel drew next the winner and had a similar net of roach on the pole and maggot.
3rd Martin Kirk - Sensas A4 - 21lb. Martin also drew downstream and had a similar net of roach at 6m on pole and maggot.
4th John Beesley - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 19lb 12oz. John drew 4 below the boathouse on a known chub and had 2 chub for 11lb 12oz on feeder and caster and some roach on the waggler and maggot.
5th Richard Rosinski - Sensas A4 - 19lb 4oz. Richard drew 2 above the boathouse and had 2 chub on the feeder and some roach on the pole
