I fished the extension today and water still has some colour , had about 25 fish on single white maggot ( mostly perch and some roach ) - fed a bit of crumb - so can add a vote for fishing the Extension on Saturday - although happy to give W&E a try if thats decided upon

Had a look at the extension today, and it looked good. Will see what rain we get tonight. With weather forecast looking like the odd shower Friday, it may change but decision will be made tomorrow evening. Shouldn't make any difference really, as bait requirements etc will be the same.

Not had any notices of absentees yet, so it could be a full house

Someone has numbered the pegs through clayhanger nothing on any of the bridges though saying who the controlling club is

Brownhills the  Anchor pub section where we had a few matches last is still not taken as far as im aware

This looks perfect at the minute plenty of colour and loads of pegs if you head towards chase water

Looked at the Extension today 2.15pm. Fishable to me. Coloured but not to bad. 24 hours without heavy rain should (in my humble opinion) be OK.

Funny that...hissing it down in Cannock too.......didn't start raining til 3 though.....could make it horrible and grey colour tomorrow.......but we will still catch fish. 

Only way to find out is turn up and see. If its grey, and opinion seems to favour a move, lets go somewhere else, peg out a fresh stretch, and fish 4 hours instead of 5........ OR....... lets hope only 10 turn up and go the other side of the bridge on the boats........OR.........lets just take what the weather throws at us and get on with the original plan
