Nearly got there last Sunday but the rain and generally inclement conditions meant I had to stop in the warm and drink tea .

Hard going down there today. Colour was that horrible slate grey we get after heavy rain. Finished up with about a pound after 2 1/2 hours. Nothing for the first hour then started to weedle a few out on the squatt and g/b. Mix of Roach, perch and little ounce skimmers. Had a visit from PhilB for half an hour, by which time the rain was torrential  Packed in after getting seen off by a lump. Possibly a Tinca :'(.
