Well I hope you all had a nice enjoyable day out in the countryside on such a nice day.  Image Image  I think we were all quite lucky afterall it could have yellow streamed down for the full 6 hours instead of only 5.  Image Image

Despite the conditions it fished well with an average weight of 92lb and I have a feeling that Micks winning weight may be a new record for Colemans. ( Just found the results from last July and Al had 194lb from peg 6 on Woods so its a tie.)

A poor result from Tony means that Clive has now sneaked a 3 point at the top and Mick win leaves him only one point behind Keith in the battle to be King of the Milton Keynes Massive

Well done to all that managed to fish on what turned out to be a bit of a damp one to say the very least.

Congrats to Mick on the win and being so close to a double ton.

See you all at Alders.

Well done mick on the win, tremendous weight considering the conditions.

I was expecting some more singing from Al, which would have been Singing in the rain, but hats of to you and Keith for fishing the whole match in just T- shirts!!!!

Fished the match on corn, but lesson learnt today:-

1. Don't buy new margin floats and use them B4 practicing with them first.

2. Ask someone who has got them the type of shotting pattern to use.

3.Get more advice on paste fishing.

4. Stop breaking stuff, cupping kit again!!!.

Great day, despite the weather and god company.

Well ask on here then. What make type and weight were they?

Once again you should have got up and watched and asked on the day. Nothing like seeing someone do it.

If they were the handmade ones then you should have come round and seen Keith. He designed them. Image Image

For the 0.1 I use either 2x no8 stotz or 1 no8 and 1 no 10 depending on what Im doing.

You should never buy floats from a man that wears sandals Image

What type of fishing would change your shotting pattern Dave? Are we talking paste or heavier baits?
