.I drew peg 4, between Phil B and My hero DP. Unfortunately, me and DP had drawn the scales
Set up a tip rod, as my far bank was abot 20 metres away, but there was fishy action over in the reeds. (it could have been the monkeys playing with themselves on the island though)
Also set up a margin rig and a silvers rig. Despite the flat calm conditions, it was blowing a hooly in DP's peg, mainly out of his rear end. I swear a couple of the hurricanes sounded like he had followed through, but he denied it
Hardly had a sniff on the pole lines all day and finished up with 10 craps and a couple of tincas on the straight lead and 8mm pellet for 25lb odd.
I could see Yamo through the gap in the islands, and after what looked like a slow start for him, he built up a great winning weight. Top slapping Paul
