Our next match is another newish one at Puddledock Road Lake http://www.puddledockfarmfishery.com/ . Although we did fish it last year the conditions were not good for most. Hopefully it will be a bit calmer for us this year. At the very least its less than 18 miles and a half hour trip for me.

A fact finding mission will be required a week or so before hand, not for the fishing but to try and get the cafe to open early like he did last year. Normal opening time is 8.30 so if they wont open early I will do a rolling draw so you can set up first and then go for brekkie and be ready for a normal 10 am (ish ) start.

Rules are fairly basic.

Barbless Hooks Only
No High Oil Pellets (Trout / Halibut)
No Floating Baits
No Dapping
Minimum depth to be fished is 8[ch8243]
Two Keepnets to be used: One for silver fish & carp to 1lb and one for carp over 1lb.
Each net to be weighed in separately
No cutting of Bankside Vegetation
No Hand Lining
Pull Bungs Allowed
Max 5mph speed limit in car park
No platforms / footplates in water

and finally No radios, (including singing) fires or swimming.... Thats Al and Simon knackered then
