It is fair to say that these two go hand in hand.
If you had to sacrifice one for the other which would you choose and why?

feeding jase, would keep the cost of bait down

presentation is everything imo

i dont agree if you get your feeding right you would be surprised at what rigs you can catch on fishing is all in the feeding .right bait right time right amount get this right the catching is easy

Depends on type of fishing, you can get away with shocking rigs on some venues with the right feeding ( mainly commercials ) however it wouldn't matter how well you fed our local canals, if your hook bait isn't presented right, you ain't getting a bite. For most fishing, as said on this post they come hand in hand so it would be a difficult choice to sacrifice one IMO
