Well after 2 hours of not having a bite I packed up and come home

Been nice weather all through the week and as soon as Sunday comes it turns to rain and WIND  >:(
The place was a sh!t hole, my peg was just a big mud puddle. Nowhere clean to put anything.
It was that red clay too which sticks to everything.
So I threw my dummy out the pram and packed and come home to a nice hot cuppa tea.  
Got to go and clean all my gear off in a bit though, can't leave it dirty  

In all there was only about 5 fish caught before I left.
The pipe at the bottom of swallow pool that goes into mill pool was like a bloody log flume, there was some seriously cold rain water going round the pool.
Hope the other lads catch but I had had enough of this sh!t weather

Keep Plugging away at it simps it will come good one day mate. i agree the weather is Pantz at the mo for fishing.

I just was not interested today mate.
I hardly had any sleep due to working on another website.
I was tired and the waves round my float were making me feel crazy
I know there's fish in there but they were not having it today.

Si it rained solid for about 12/13 hours last night and they had it worse than us, its got to put them off.Your right about the mud when it rains bad there it can be a mud heap made worse by the peg repairs.
Long way to go for a sh#t day

The peg you were on won this match Frank with 30 odd lb I think.
2nd place was 1st peg to the left of the gate.

Like you said , its a long way to go for 2 hours of fishing and a empty keepnet.
