Hi all, i have an army match on the 1st may at the above location, does anyone know anybody that has fished here, needs some tips

If its the pool I'm thinking about Manny think its just off jnct 3 of the M54

Did ponder about booking it myself a few years ago MarkJD , but by all accounts it was 'hard'............on reflection it would have been a good 'grueller venue' :D

fished match on there couple of years ago,really nice looking pool..you are either on em or you aint :(...like TkK said would be exellent Image venue...

some real biggies in there as well Image

Changing subject slightly, did you fish the Military Inter-Services Championships match last Wed on the canal at Penkridge ?
Unfortunately i didnt as im retired from the army so you are only allowed to fish some of there matches, but you still have to gain points to fish the festival wich will be at makins this year, its on for 5 or 6 days, different matches held each day for veterans and serving members, individual, pairs teams of 4 over the weekly period on all the lakes, something to look forward to.
It is for all serving members and veterans from all over the country including some from europe Image
