Where have all the larger than life characters gone from fishing?

when i was a starting team fishing we had loads of characters on the back barlow rip off franco hobbo loads of great lads who loved there fishin and a odd pint with there crack were has it all gone now someoff them win and dont even come back for there money whats that all about?

Come and fish a Cashomores match mate, or the Site forum championship. There are more characters than there was in the Zulu or ben Hur films. There is never a dull moment on the Cashmores matches.....and the banter and characters at last years Site championships was amazing

CHUB tamer plenty stillout there believe me just get on our table after match

Still plenty about on midlands an Cheshire canal circuit but nothing like there where on the rivers 20 years ago some real butes

We will never reach them slim!! Pleasantly plump, hmmm I guess thats one thing you could call it???

Most of the old characters around our area are either puddle chuckers or.............. ..............dead
