Due to high-water levels, the match was switched from the Aylestone section of the canalised river Soar to the 'Manor' section of the GUC at Glen Parva.

Well done Adam. Those better skimmers did it. I never had even a small one. Fastest loser. But everyone had bites and the roach were of better stamp than the Soar just there were'nt enough of them.
Ritchie is that Nene gonna take this delulge they've forecast? Or shall i book some where else?

Drew past the wires, a few hundred yards to the right of the hump back road bridge, near the Manor.

Had 3 skimmers in 1st hour for 2lb odd and then 4lb + of roach all on punch.

We are hoping to be at Aylestone on Sunday as its fishing well, but if this rain keeps up we could be back on the cut again!

well done adam missing my fishing but my lad is playing some unbelievable rugby and iam hooked on watching him .keep the team together and the opens going will be back one day just hope its all still there give my best to all the lads see u soon
