Well  done Dean  Image
Everything and much more than expected with the trials n tribulations of the man with the van and anyone prepared to ponce a lift for the price of a £1 bet in the van sweep. ( bets even taken on motor even getting to venue..lol!)
:D
Long walks with a few bites if you were lucky and even luckier if you happened to draw on a few fish and earn a brown envelope......afterwards the money would end up spent in pub behind the bar!!!.  :
Image
This book its not about bagging up with the latest tackle and must ave magical baits....no its about travelling the length n breadth of the country fishing different venues and having the banter with the guys pegged around you..most of who you wouldnt know from adam. ..forging life long freindships and fond memories. Image

HAPPY DAYZZZ!

Go buy the book cos it really has something for everyone...and a reet giggle  Image

Best wishes to ALL  and be sure yas ave a gud'un  Image Image Image Image

That's a nice idea Pedro - would have taken you up if i hadnt just finished reading it myself last week.......

Obviously remember Franks weekly column in the Anglers Mail - like most, it used to be the first thing I used to turn to

Loads of amusing situations and things that the 'average' angler could relate too............had a fair few chuckles again to myself as I sped through the pages.

Now just who was it off here that Boris describes in the book as  'a well hungover creature who looked like death warmed up staggering towards me. he got two paces away, chucked down his tackle and began holding onto the hedge whilst he deposited what had made him ill right behind me. I asked him if it was his way of telling me what my peg was like'   Image     Image
