my tench came in like a 'bushful of weed', So I thought I lost it.

it were hard work but banter are end were bang on brill as thee past milky bar thee heard the word (yam brings me bad luck when yam draw near me) thought t mesen classic, it dint work this time though a MBK well done gettin tench out lad and well done to zorro top man and a big thank you to mr v for keeping it close at end

It was great banter and entertainment down our end. and a very close results sheet (especially as KOD had forgot how to use the drams slider on the beams  . First hour or two was ok for me. had a few very small roach on punch and whip, followed by a few perch on choppie. Tricast seemed to be having one or two better samples on the stalking heron method. First boat went through, and as usual, killed it stone dead for half an hour. A bit more feed dripped in here and there resulted in half an hour of similar action, including a dumpy little perch of about 6 oz. Then the second boat came through and virtually killed me off for the rest of the match  . Tried overdepth, shallow, very shallow, but apart from the odd roach, fresh out of the egg sac, i couldnt put any fish together. Banjoed both sides.  The W & E can certainly make you feel inept sometimes 
Funny of the day for me was 2 little sprogs playing around behind Tricast, and the mother, a fairly big lass, shouting at them from the pub terrace to get back up there. They ignored her so she came down behind tricast, dressed in shorts and skimpy top, and collected the kids. As she bent down to pick the little one up, it was like a DOUBLE GG eclipse of the sun  Tricast, bless him, missed it all
