Strange canal fish them.

Once drew next to Dave on the Loughborough canal. He was fishing for Shaky at the time and had one of those hexaginal poles. He fished in a gap in the weeds right over, lifted all his fish out of the water, put them back in the channel and played them to the net from there..........If i remember correctly Dave beat me. No surprise there.

Although this wasnt taken on the towpath, everyone knows DB was a legend and a true towpath warrior

Just ought to add, the photos in this 'suite' of topics all came from Towpath2 who took the time and trouble to dig them out and send them to me - many thanks Towpath2

Hence the 'towpath' reference in the title as 'acknowledgement' ;)

Now that would be really impressive, think iv'e only ever had my picture taken twice whilst fishing.
