Right chaps. In TK's absence, I am taking over the "attendance" for this one. Therefore, if you cannot attend, can you please pm me, or post on here so I can keep an update of how many pegs we need to put in. I will get a map posted on here soon of where the access to the stretch is, and parking. Thanks

Ok peeps, pin back yer lug holes. I cannot work out how to post a nice pretty google map with coloured direction arrows........so here are the directions the old fashioned way

. Exit A38 at Branston and turn right on island at top of slip road. You will come to a set of lights and should turn right for Branston. Keep on that road for about 3/4 mile (it's 30mph with cameras) until you come to a small island with Branston golf club signed right. This is Fairways and goes through a housing estate. Look for Faldo Close on left and turn there. Follow road into golf club. As you approach clubhouse car park, bear left past some metal clad units on your left, onto a dirt track, and follow this all way to river. Take care as this track crosses two fairways, so keep your eyes peeled for men in funny clothes about to try and hit a little White thing (the ball) with a long stick (the club) and usually shouting (fore!!) this is usually a sign the ball is heading somewhere it shouldn't and the man in funny clothes is having a s**t time out there.

...last nyghte .... had to diner a necke of moton and potage, a piece of powdered biefe and cabage, a leg of goose broyled,
a rabbet, a piece of an apple tart, cheese, apples and several peares ....

Later I was very sick in the nyghte, and had the sciatica, the collik, a surfet of pork in the belly and the shytes

The post code for the golf club is DE14 3DP and you'll need to turn into Fairway then into Faldo close

River looks sock on today.

. Will see what rain we have tomorrow but pretty sure it will be on river. Probably only a dozen of us so should find some slacks if it comes up a bit

Oh fiddlesticks... Mr V , I have been informed that I "may " be required to work on saturday ( bastids) , hope not, but "may" usually transpires to "must", wont know for definate until friday .... rather peed orf cuz I aint fished a match with Cashmoresd yet this year
