Tk can you give my guest place to a reserve please as im snowed under at work and i cant see me getting the day off
so rather than waste a place i would rather it go to some one who can def make it .

Obviously you may have to pick up some pellets on route from the shop, but meet/draw in the car park............
And I bet I draw the longest walk - circa peg 30

Have a gander at Border Fishery again on Google maps Josh -browse 'above' and to the left of the pool we last fished you'll spot a massive circular pool - with car park

Went and had a look around the place yesterday, and it looks very nice....pegs a bit close, but should encourage the banter and craic
As for how it was fishing......a bacon butty or a cuppa placed in my little danny might get you the answer on Saturday morning

Just a refresher of their match rules taken from the Border web site..........
Please ensure that all members of your party are made aware of these rules listed below. Maximum size hooks 14s. All club match secretaries’ MUST delegate two members of there club to do the weighing-in. All match anglers must supply there own keep-nets, where possible all nets must be dried out before fishing. Two nets must be used.
1/ All anglers MUST have a current E.A rod license.
2/ Strictly BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY, No pinching barbs in.
3/ No double hooking.
4/ In line flat Method feeders can be used not fixed.
5/ No floating pole or rattlers of any description.
6/ Maximum size hook Stacy’s pool and specimen lake 10s
7/ All fish over 4oz MUST be landed by net.
8/ No braided line.
9/ Unused bait must not be thrown into the water or on the bank after fishing.
10/ Any angler with litter (including cigarette ends) on or around their pegs will not be weighed in.
11/ No feeding floating baits.
12/ No meat sweet corn or hemp tins allowed on the banks of the fishery.
13/ No floating baits! Pop-up baits allowed Max 12 inch tale.
14/ Macaroni cheese can be used only as hook bait. No feeding.
15/ Micro Boilies may be used as hook bait only, max size 6mm
From 1st April 2010
ALL NON MEMBERS MUST BE OFF THE FISHERY WITHIN ONE HOUR AFTER THE ALL OUT.
All anglers MUST use two keep nets. Fish 3lbs & under + silver fish in one net. Fish over 3lbs in your second net.
Ground bait maximum 1 kilo to be introduced by pole pot , feeder or inline method feeder .
BOLT RIGS ARE BANNED
BAIT BANS
Nuts, peas, beans. No bloodworm or joker. No cat or dog meat. •
Pellets – Only fishery carp pellets can be used for feed. •
Fishery carp pellets will be sold on site. Maximum size 8m •
You may use your own hooker pellets. Maximum size 10m •
