Wigston A.S. Leicester Canal Champs – Sunday 25th March (25 pegs)
In-form Steve Oakes won the Leicester Canal Champs fished at the Kilby Bridge section of the Grand Union Canal.
The Wigston A.S. rod had a mixed net of skimmers and rudd to weigh
4lb 13 ½ oz caught on pole-fished maggot and caster.
Second place, Steve Warner had a similar mixed catch on pinkie for 3lb 15oz ahead of Nigel Miller on 3lb 9oz and Steve Gardner 3lb 8oz
