I have just been talking to Jayne at Colemans. As from the end of the month they will stop supplying nets. They will still have the same 70lb net limit and will put some of their older nets round the lake for anyone to use if they catch too many.

Dont think this will be too much of a problem as I think most would prefer to use their own nets anyway.

Not brilliant Dave.

Fishery nets get a lot of use and abuse and its clear that some anglers dont treat them with the same care as they would if they were their own and the costs of replacing them came from their wallets. Image
I much prefer using my own as my nets and attachments are nearly all fitted with Prologic connectors and I have to carry spare connectors for using fishery nets. Also the landing nets at Colemans were very close mesh compared to most and hold a lot of water soaking your legs when bagging. Image Image
